List an event that has a specific tag

Hi. I currently use the taxonomy to display all event of a particular category (such as dance). However. I want to divide my results list up into terms, so all of the events in the "Summer Term" show together and the "Winter Term", etc. I was wondering if it was possible to do this in one of three ways.
1 - Can you include tags in the shortcode that assigns the class to the correct term list. (I would then manually put a title above each term and shortcode for each term below)?
2 - Or could you do the same as 1, but would you have to do it as a category instead? Just checking that the list would show results that included both categories Ive selected (e.g. "dance" and "summer term"). SO the results would show classes only that include the category dance AND summer term.
3 - Or is there an automated process I don't know about that could automatically divide the list.

Any progress on this as I haven't heard anything and I need to amend this on the website, so it is easier for the audience to view?
