Classes not showing after first day of course has past when set to ongoing

I am having issues getting a course to show after the first date has passed. I have set it to ongoing. I have an event set to reoccur every Wednesday for a number of weeks. I have used recurrence to do this. If I remove the weekday the event (from the time sections which I require) the event then shows, but it then shows the incorrect day as a Friday on the list instead of the Wednesday it's supposed to be.

This is an urgent issue that I need to solve immediately as I have booking currently occurring.

Sorry I had to update that event as I needed people to be able to book it so had to know the first event date off it. I really need to sort this out though as we are unable to take bookings correctly that have already started.

I have now raised this issue for a week with no response. I really would just like an acknowledgement, so I know if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong. The site is live and we need it working correctly as soon as possible as we cannot change the dates week by week as ut is confusing and wrong.
