Event Dates Explained

In Events Planner, you can create unlimited number of dates for each event. Each row has its own start/end dates, registration start/end dates and capacity. As you can imagine, this gives you a lot of flexibility with your event dates. If for any reason one of the days has less available spaces, you can control it with the capacity. Out intelligent capacity manager will take care of it all.

1) User can only register for one day

This is the most common user registration scheme that we have seen. The user will need to select one of the days before they can proceed. If a date has passed or there are no more spaces available, the radio button for that day will disappear and a corresponding message will be displayed.

2) User can register for one or more days

With this option, the user needs to select at least one date before they can proceed. If a date has passed or there are no more spaces available, the checkbox for that day will disappear and a corresponding message will be displayed.

3) User automatically registers for all days

This option will register the user for all the days in the date section. As the user will not have an option to select a specific date, the registration count will be constant across all dates. This option is best used with the Advanced Time/Price Extension. For example, let’s say you have a 2 day class that occurs on Friday and Saturday. You have different times available and would like your user to select a specific time for each date. With this option, you will have that functionality. Furthermore, you will be able to control event availability per time and/or price.
