Times and Prices Section
Please note that the green highlighted areas cover features that are available after purchasing the Advanced Time/Price extension.

1) If you are offering multiple day events, this setting will give your user the ability to select a specific time for each event.  For example, if you are offering a multiple day classes/shows and you would like the user to select a specific time for each date.

2) If you are offering multiple day events, this setting will give your user the ability to select a specific price for each event.

3) Use this setting to allow your users to go through a registration without seeing any payment options.

4) This setting determines how the charges will be calculated
  • Whole Event - if the user is able to select multiple days, the total amount will not be counted for each date.
  • Each Event Date - the total will be multiplied by the number of days that the user has selected.  For example, if they select 3 days and their total for each date is $100, the overall total will be $300.

5) Start time
  • The start time of the event.
  • At least one time is required for each event.  We are working to make time optional.
  • If you allow registrations to run up to the date of an event, the registration will be closed at the time entered in this field.

6) End time of the event.

7) Registration End Time
  • If you allow registrations to run up to the date of an event, the registration will be closed at the time entered in this field and will override the Start Time.  For example, if your event starts at 5pm and you would still like to accept registrations up to 5:30pm, you can enter 5:30 pm in this field.

8) Capacity
  • This field controls the amount of available spaces for each time.  If you offer multiple days for an event, the time capacity will be controlled for each date.

9) Hide
  • Each row of data in events planner has a special id.  This field for the times and prices is used to hide rows on the front that are no longer available but you already have registrations for that time or price.  This way, the users will not be able to see this time or price when going through the registration and the registrations that are already associated with the time or the price will still be intact in the admin registrations section.

10) Date Specific?
  • This setting will allow you to associate the date with a specific date or dates.
  • If you would like this time selectable for all dates, do not specify any dates.
  • If you indicate a date specific time, you need to set #1 above to Yes.

11) Specific Date
  • If you use the Date Specific?  dropdown to select specific dates for this time, the list of days will be visible in this section.
  • Double click on the date to remove it from this section.

12) Price type
  • This field is used for displaying the price label to the user when they are registering.

13) Price
  • Price that you charge for an event.
  • Can have unlimited number of prices.
  • Enter the price in 1234.56 format and 0 for free events.

14) Min
  • Minimum number of tickets that the registrant can select for that price.

15) Max
  • Maximum number of tickets that the registrant can select for that price.

16) Show 0?
  • Determines if 0 will be displayed in the Quantity dropdown for that price.
  • Setting this to no makes that price selection mandatory.

17) Capacity
  • If you have limited availability for each price, this setting will let you control it for each time of each date.  For example, let's say you have an event on March 20, you are offering 3pm and 5 pm time slots.  Let's say you have two prices.  Regular and VIP and you only have 5 VIP tickets available for each date.  If you enter 5 in the capacity for the VIP price, the system will keep track of it separately for March 20, 3pm registrations and March 20, 5pm registrations.

18) From
  • This date (if any) determines when the price will be available for registration.
  • This can be useful for offering early bird registrations.

19) To
  • This date (if any) determines the last date that the price will be available for registration.
  • This can be useful for offering early bird registrations.
  • During the registration process, the user will see the time left in 6d 5h 50m format.
